COVID-19 Vaccination for Children 6-11 Years Old at Premier Bintaro Hospital

In the spirit of supporting the Government's program to accelerate the Covid-19 vaccination, Premier Bintaro Hospital held a Sinovac 1 dose of Covid-19 vaccination for children aged 6-11 years, on Sunday, December 26, 2021. At this stage, Premier Bintaro Hospital is targeting a dose of 1 vaccine. for 1,000 children and as many as 803 children were vaccinated at the event. Vaccine participants who registered were not only from around Premier Bintaro Hospital, but also many participants from outside South Tangerang.

The activity was directly reviewed by the Director of Elementary Schools of the Ministry of Education and Culture, RI, Dra. Sri Wahyuningsih, M.Pd. On that occasion, he said, “I personally and on behalf of the Ministry appreciate Premier Bintaro Hospital for providing vaccination facilities for children. Hopefully what the RSPB is doing inspires other partners to help the government in accelerating the provision of vaccines for children aged 6-12 years so that it is hoped that our children will maintain their health, be prepared for their immunity, can encourage parents and the community to allow their children to be her daughter studies at school. Because they are much calmer, the children have been vaccinated, so that parents' worries (that) their children may be infected can be eliminated. And people don't need to hesitate, they don't need to worry, let's prepare our children to get the Covid-19 vaccine as a child."

The implementation of the first stage of child vaccination was also enlivened by the presence of 2 smart robots named Darby. Darby is the name of the mascot of Premier Bintaro Hospital in the form of a stuffed deer. The Darby robot helps point out vaccination areas for vaccine participants. The Darby robot also plays cheerful music that makes the child feel cheerful and comfortable when injected. The event was even more lively by giving out balloons, souvenirs, and taking pictures on the Wall of Fame that read I Have Been Vaccinated.
