Mask & Acne

28 October 2021

During pandemic, we must wear a mask regularly to prevent infection.

Wearing a mask to help protect against COVID-19 is the right thing to do, for yourself and for those around you. But what should we when red rashes start to appear on the mask area?

Whoops!

The use of the old mask, will cover our skin. Depending on the material of the mask...the tighter the mask material...the more covered our skin.

Every day, our skin still produces oil...to coat the surface of the skin...on oily skin types...this oil will accumulate and close the skin pores...so that blackheads / early types of pimples arise, if they react with bacteria the surface of the skin, inflammation and infection will arise... so that acne gets worse..

There are so many cases due to the use of masks, triggering acne, especially on oily skin types.

Tips

1. We recommend washing your face 3 times a day with the appropriate facial soap

2. Choose a mask that is suitable for our skin, both from the type of material and comfortable in use

3. We recommend that you open the mask every 4 hours for 15 minutes

4. Avoid using cosmetic creams, or look for non-comedogenic cosmetics

5. Avoid sleeping at night

6. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables

7. Don't stress..

Good luck with the process...and bye acne...
